The
RTBA sponsors the Annual Scholarship
Awards Banquet each year which recognizes
outstanding performance among students in the
Ridley School District. The first scholarship,
(formerly Cadillac Dinner was held in 1961and
every year since). This as well as the Annual
Monte Carlo Night are the principle fund raising
affairs for the organization.
The Annual Christmas Party
is an affair where the RTBA members and their
families celebrate the successes of the year.
Another community event is where members
participate in "Dr. Seuss" Readings
in local classrooms.
The RTBA also sponsors an Annual Golf Outing open
to all business owners and the public.
Another RTBA activity is the Annual Spring
Exhibit and Fashion Show held at Ridley High
School. This is an event where members are invited
to help honor the students accomplishments in
sculpture, painting, crafts, drawing, drafting,
wood working cake decorating and clothing design.
The AllTogether Boulevard Clean-Up Day
also known as "ABC Day" is an
RTBA event where volunteers from the organization
team up with civic groups, Boy and Girl Scout
troops, and citizens to clean up and fix up
MacDade Boulevard.
The RTBA family is a closely knit group of
business owners and friends who share the common
desire to give back to the community.
